BUCS YOUTH GIRLS LACROSSE
Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
YOUTH GIRLS LACROSSE PLAYER EQUIPMENT
All players are required to have the proper youth girls lacrosse equipment to partipcate in any BUCS Youth Girls Lacrosse sanctioned game or practice. All players will be provided a lacrosse ball from the club at the first practice to keep. We strongly recommend players wear cleats. Equipment must meet the requirements set forth by USA Lacrosse and PAGLA. Verification of certification can be checked online at the listing maintained by the independent Safety Equipment Institute (SEI).
FIELD PLAYERS
Eyewear: All girls’ goggles must meet the current ASTM performance standard, F3077, and be SEI certified to be legal for play.
Crosse: Must adhere to Rule 2 Section 2. Legal sticks - USlacrosse.org/safety/equipment/legal-sticks
Mouthguard: Must be visible color other than clear or white, self molding (from manufacturers) or custom molded (from dentist).
Lacrosse Ball: Certified lacrosse balls meet the NOCSAE performance standard, ND049
GOALIES
Helmet: NOCSAE certified (with stamp) designed for lacrosse with facemask and secured with chinstrap.
Throat protector (separate from helmet)
Abdominal & pelvic protection
Goalkeeper gloves
Leg Pads: Must protect shins and thighs.
Chest Protector: Must be designed for lacrosse and meet the NOCSAE performance standard, ND200 and must include the NOCSAE Lacrosse label.
